President’s Letter May 2026
Hello Woods Neighbors,
Our 2026 Annual Homeowners Meeting will be May 19 in the Halle Meeting Room of the
Collierville Burch Library from 6PM to 8PM.
Our agenda will include…
A report on the financial status of our association, and the need to increase
homeowner’s dues 5% from $595 to $625.
A status Update on the Byhalia entrance sign
Project status to acquire a replacement fence for the pool/tennis court area
A presentation by Woods homeowner, Mr. Frank Warren, reviewing the state of the
Woods housing market
We will also discuss ongoing challenges and areas for further effort, such as:
Recent unauthorized access to the swimming pool area
Placement of homeowner owned recreational equipment in the pool/tennis area
The need for a Covenants, Codes, and Restriction (CCR) rewrite
School traffic on North Tree Drive
Drainage issue on Fair Oaks Drive
Deteriorating asphalt edges near curb in various locations
The final agenda item will be to complete our HOA Board Election
This year we will be electing a new Woods HOA Board of Directors. Woods By-Laws require a
minimum of three and a maximum of seven directors.
The Woods HOA has 111 dues paying homeowner members…some who have just moved here,
others who have lived here many years. Regardless of the time here, I respectfully urge you to
consider what you want the Woods to be as a neighborhood in which to live, raise a family, and
enhance your home as an investment – then vote wisely.
If you are considering serving on our Board of Directors, thank you! If you decide to pursue this
service, please consider what your vision is for the Woods, as well as how you feel about
serving as a steward of our Covenants, Codes, and Restrictions (CCRs). As a board member
you will be challenged to resolve competing perspectives, often involving close friends. Armed
with a solid awareness of the CCR’s, your vision for the Woods, and a commitment to all 111 of
our homeowners, your work as a board member can be a lasting gift to our neighborhood.
I hope to see you at our meeting.
